The Right Visuals
We produce stunning back-lit transparencies and other visuals for the jewelry industry that are displayed through North America. Most back-lits are printed using the HP Latex process, which provides a high density color saturation and incredibly smooth skin tones which is critical for lightbox displays. Our print media replicates Kodak Duratrans in weight and finish, which for years was the standard for lightbox displays. Our technicians are experts at color optimization to make sure your message is consistently delivered with full impact.
Light-Works years of experience as a nationally recognized commercial color lab assures your work will look its best. Since 1978, we have been custom printers of fine photography and channel this experience in all the printing we do, both a fine art prints and marketing graphics. Our background as a commercial photo lab provides a unique focus on the image: skin tones, color balance, neutral grays, sharpness, highlight and shadow detail. The Right Equipment
We have the right tools. Our equipment decisions are based on quality, not quantity. We’re not looking for the fastest, highest capacity, as there are hundreds of printing companies that work on speed and price alone. We seek out precision and quality in imaging equipment: photo realism, output resolution, solid-color rendering, and fine type reproduction. Light-Works uses two of the most awarded flatbed UV curable printers, the OCE Arizona and the brand new Fujifilm Acuity 28, which has two extra colors for the highest photorealism available. With resolution up to 1440 dpi, no other printer compares in imaging quality.

Project Spotlight:
Patagonia hired Light-Works to produce retail graphics. The images were high quality outdoor lifestyle images in stunning color. They required a sustainable product that showcased their images brilliantly. We direct printed on FalconBoard using our Arizona flatbed printer, and hung the panels with bevel cleats to float them off the walls. We produced a translucent display graphic of the company’s founders which we installed in an antique window frame to highlight the building’s origins.
